This Privacy Policy describes how MOSSU Tab Parking (Japanese name: こけこけのタブの預かり所), a Chrome extension developed by Akifumi Yoshimura, handles information when you use it. The extension saves, organizes, finds, and restores browser tabs. Related features include search, sticky flags, an optional recovery copy, importing and exporting, consistency checks, and diagnostics. There is also a separate introduction page for a companion iPhone app, with an embedded YouTube video and external links.

Summary

• No account is required to save tabs or to turn on bookmark recovery.
• Pages are not read. There is no content script that reads page bodies, form entries, cookies, or password fields.
• Local storage first. Saved tab records stay in this browser’s extension storage unless you export them or enable a bookmark recovery copy.
• No automatic upload to me. The extension does not automatically send saved URLs, titles, or diagnostic files to a server I operate.
• YouTube only on the introduction page. Displaying that page loads an embedded player and connects to YouTube.

Information accessed and stored

Chrome tab APIs provide tab URLs, page titles, favicon URLs, ordering, window and tab identifiers, and states such as pinned or incognito. Where available and permitted, group information can include a name and color. Tab information is used to select eligible pages for saving and to update context-menu availability when tabs change. Those menu updates do not create a continuously retained browsing-history log.

Saved entries include URLs, titles, timestamps, set names, and related organization data. Depending on the website, a URL or title may contain personal identifiers, message subjects, sensitive information, or authentication parameters. The extension does not automatically remove URL query strings or fragments.

The extension reads files or pasted URL lists that you choose to import. It keeps preferences such as appearance, language, excluded sites, restore behavior, onboarding state, bookmark-backup choice, and sticky flags. Operation types, progress, timestamps, error codes, and consistency information may be recorded for recovery and diagnostics.

Storage, backup, and synchronization

Saved tab records and operation records are held in the extension’s IndexedDB storage. Settings are stored in chrome.storage.local. Browser-run identifiers and related temporary state use chrome.storage.session. Some UI preferences and sticky flags use localStorage. The extension does not use chrome.storage.sync.

Bookmark recovery is optional. If you enable it and grant bookmark access, the extension creates copies of URLs, titles, and recovery metadata in dedicated Chrome bookmark folders. It reads the bookmark tree to locate those folders and manage their entries. Local tab saving is available without this recovery copy.

Chrome may synchronize recovery bookmarks through your Google account and other signed-in devices according to your browser settings. The extension prefers a local-only bookmark location where Chrome exposes one, but it cannot promise that every recovery folder is excluded from synchronization.

Recovery after uninstalling requires an existing recovery copy whose bookmarks remain available. Uninstalling can remove the extension’s own storage; it does not necessarily remove bookmarks or exported files. Keep an independent JSON export of important collections.

Network connections and third parties

The extension does not automatically send saved tab URLs, titles, or exported diagnostic files to a developer-operated server.

To display site icons, it passes saved page URLs to Chrome’s favicon API. Chrome controls icon caching and retrieval; this is not a promise that icon display never involves network activity. Restoring a tab opens the original website and causes ordinary website requests.

The companion-app introduction page contains a lazy-loaded YouTube iframe using youtube-nocookie.com. Loading the player connects to YouTube even before you necessarily start playback. Do not interpret privacy-enhanced embedding as a guarantee of no data handling. YouTube may receive ordinary request information, including IP address and browser information, and process player interactions under its own policies.

For the two configured video embeds, a narrowly scoped Chrome request rule sets a Referer containing a synthetic application origin based on the extension ID. The player URL also includes this origin and the selected language. The extension does not add saved-tab URLs or titles to these video requests. These rules apply to extension-initiated video subframes, not arbitrary browsing requests.

External links to the companion website, YouTube, and the App Store open services with their own privacy practices. You control where exported JSON files and copied URLs are stored or shared.

Retention and deletion

Active saved sets have no fixed automatic expiration. Deleted sets are designed to be removed from IndexedDB by scheduled cleanup after seven days. The actual cleanup time depends on Chrome and extension execution. Individual-tab deletion and retention after restoration depend on the operation and your preferences.

When recovery copies are enabled, deleting a set can leave a copy in the recovery bookmark trash folder. The current implementation does not give that bookmark trash a fixed automatic expiration. Turning off recovery can leave existing copies unless you choose to delete the recovery folder.

For complete removal, consider all copies: extension data, dedicated Chrome bookmark folders including their trash, synced bookmark copies, and exported files. Removing only one copy does not necessarily remove the others. Use Chrome’s controls to manage its synchronized data. Uninstalling the extension removes its own storage but may leave bookmarks and files you exported.

Security and diagnostics

The extension writes and checks stored records before closing eligible source tabs. When the optional recovery copy is enabled, it also verifies the bookmark copy. These checks are not a guarantee of permanent storage or zero data loss. The extension does not implement its own encryption layer for stored tab records. Protect your device and browser profile, and keep independent exports where appropriate.

Diagnostic exports are initiated by you. They are designed to contain versions, operation states, error codes, counts, and consistency information rather than saved page URLs or titles. They are not automatically uploaded. Review a file before sharing it.

If you contact me through the public channels below, I use that message only to respond to the inquiry. This extension does not operate a separate customer database. I do not currently use processors to handle support mail for this product.

Permissions

• tabs — Read URLs, titles, positions, and states of tabs in the chosen save scope; restore pages; refresh context-menu availability. Not used to read page bodies.
• favicon — Show site icons next to saved pages via Chrome’s favicon API.
• contextMenus — Right-click actions to open the list, choose a save scope, or exclude the current site.
• storage — Keep settings and temporary run state on this device. chrome.storage.sync is not used.
• alarms — Schedule maintenance such as recovery-copy checks and cleanup of expired deleted sets.
• bookmarks (optional) — Create and verify a recovery copy after you turn that copy on. Local saving still works without it.
• tabGroups (optional) — Restore original tab groups when that metadata exists. The extension does not invent new groups.
• declarativeNetRequestWithHostAccess and youtube-nocookie.com — Set a Referer for two introduction-video embeds initiated by the extension. Not used for arbitrary browsing.

Limited Use

Use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Saved-tab data is used for tab management and related recovery and diagnostics, not for advertising, creditworthiness, or lending decisions. Sale, transfer, and human access stay within the uses permitted by that policy.

What this extension does not do

• It does not request access to all websites or inject scripts into the pages you visit.
• It does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
• It does not use the extension to build advertising profiles.
• It does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

When this policy changes, the updated text is published on this page with a new “last updated” date. If a change materially affects how tab data is handled, I will also note it on this page.

本プライバシーポリシーは、akifumi（吉村 明史）が開発する Chrome 拡張機能 こけこけのタブの預かり所（MOSSU Tab Parking） が、利用時にどのような情報を扱うかを説明します。本拡張機能は、ブラウザのタブを保存・整理し、 必要なときに復元するために情報を扱います。保存一覧の検索、付箋、任意の復旧用コピー、 読み込み・書き出し、整合性の確認と障害診断に利用します。別途、コンパニオン iPhone アプリの紹介ページがあり、 YouTube の埋め込み動画と外部リンクを含みます。

概要

• アカウントは不要です。 タブの保存や、ブックマーク復旧用コピーの有効化にログインは求めません。
• ページ本文は読みません。 ウェブページ本文、フォーム入力、Cookie、パスワード欄を読み取る content script はありません。
• 保存は端末内が基本です。 保存したタブの記録はこのブラウザの拡張機能内に置かれます。書き出しや、任意のブックマーク復旧用コピーを除き、外部へ自動送信しません。
• 開発者サーバーへの自動送信はありません。 URL・タイトル・診断ファイルを、開発者が運営するサーバーへ自動で送る処理はありません。
• 紹介ページのみ YouTube に接続します。 そのページを表示すると埋め込みプレーヤーが読み込まれ、YouTube へ接続します。

取り扱う情報と取得方法

Chrome のタブ API から、URL、ページタイトル、favicon の URL、並び順、ウィンドウ・タブ識別子、 固定・シークレット等の状態を取得します。利用可能で許可されている場合は、グループの名前・色なども取得します。 保存操作時の対象選択に加え、タブが切り替わったり更新されたりした際のメニューの有効・無効判定にもタブ情報を参照します。 後者を閲覧履歴として継続保存する仕組みはありません。

保存対象の URL・タイトル、保存日時、セット名等を保持します。URL やタイトルには、利用先サイトによって 個人情報、件名、認証用のパラメータなどが含まれることがあります。URL のクエリやフラグメントを自動除去する仕組みはありません。

ユーザーが選択したファイルや貼り付けた URL 一覧を、インポートのために読み取ります。 表示設定、言語、除外するサイト、復元後の動作、初回案内の状態、ブックマーク復旧用コピーの選択、付箋を保持します。 復旧・診断のため、操作の種別・進行状態・時刻・エラーコード等も記録します。

保存先と共有・同期

保存したタブと操作記録は、拡張機能内の IndexedDB に保持します。設定は chrome.storage.local、起動セッションの識別子等は chrome.storage.session、付箋や一部の描画設定は localStorage 等に保持します。chrome.storage.sync は使用していません。

ブックマークへの復旧用コピーは任意です。有効にしてブックマーク権限を許可した場合のみ、 URL・タイトル等を Chrome ブックマーク内の専用フォルダに保存します。既存のブックマークツリーを参照して 専用フォルダを識別します。復旧用コピーがなくても、端末内へのタブ保存はできます。

Chrome がローカル専用の保存先を提供する場合はそれを優先しますが、同期される場所が使用されることがあります。 Google アカウントと Chrome の設定に応じて、Google および同じアカウントの他の端末へ同期される場合があります。 この同期は Chrome の仕組みによって行われます。

拡張機能から開発者のサーバーに URL・タイトル・診断情報を自動送信する処理はありません。 エクスポートした JSON やクリップボードへコピーした URL は、ユーザー自身が保存先・共有先を管理します。

ネットワーク接続と第三者

保存一覧の favicon 表示には、Chrome の favicon API へ対象 URL を渡します。Chrome 内部のキャッシュ・取得処理について、 本拡張機能は通信が一切発生しないことを保証しません。保存したページを開くと、そのウェブサイトとの通常の通信が行われます。

コンパニオンアプリの紹介ページには、youtube-nocookie.com を使った YouTube の埋め込みがあります。 プレーヤーを読み込むと、再生開始前でも YouTube へ接続します。プライバシー強化埋め込みを、 データ取り扱いが無いことの保証と解釈しないでください。提供者は IP アドレスやブラウザ情報などの通常のリクエスト情報を受け取り、 その方針に従って処理する場合があります。

設定された2本の埋め込み動画について、拡張機能 ID に基づく合成オリジンを含む Referer を付ける、 範囲を限定した Chrome のリクエスト規則があります。プレーヤー URL にもこのオリジンと言語が含まれます。 保存したタブの URL やタイトルは、これらの動画リクエストには含めません。規則は拡張機能が開始する動画サブフレームに適用し、 通常の閲覧リクエストは改変しません。

保存期間と削除

利用中の保存セットに固定の自動削除期限はありません。一覧から削除したセットは、7日経過後の定期処理で IndexedDB から整理される設計です。Chrome や拡張機能の動作状況により処理時刻は変動します。 単一タブの削除や復元後の保持状態は、操作と設定によって異なります。

復旧用コピーを有効にしている場合、セットを削除してもブックマーク側のゴミ箱フォルダにコピーが残ることがあり、 現在版ではそのコピーの自動消去期限はありません。復旧用コピーをオフにしても、フォルダを削除しない限り既存のコピーが残ることがあります。

完全な削除が必要な場合は、拡張機能の保存データに加え、Chrome ブックマークの該当専用フォルダ（ゴミ箱を含む）、 同期先、ユーザー自身が書き出した JSON 等も削除してください。どれか一つを消しても、他のコピーが残ることがあります。 同期先のデータは Chrome 側で確認してください。アンインストールで拡張機能内の保存データは消えますが、 ブックマークや書き出したファイルが同時に消えるとは限りません。

セキュリティと診断

保存先へ書き込み、確認してから対象のタブを閉じる仕組みを採用しています。任意の復旧用コピーが有効なときは、 ブックマーク側のコピーも照合します。ただし、損失のない永久保存を保証するものではありません。 拡張機能独自の保存データ暗号化は実装していません。端末・ブラウザの保護設定と併せ、大切な一覧は JSON で別途保管してください。

ユーザーが操作して書き出す診断情報には、拡張機能と Chrome のバージョン、操作の状態、エラーコード、件数、 整合性情報等が含まれます。保存 URL・タイトルを含めない設計で、自動送信されません。共有する前に内容を確認してください。

下記の公開窓口へ問い合わせをいただいた場合、その返答のためにメッセージを使用します。 本拡張機能向けの独自の顧客データベースは運用していません。サポートメールの委託先も現在はありません。

権限

• tabs — 選択した範囲のタブの URL・タイトル・位置・状態を読み取り、復元し、メニューの有効状態を更新します。ページ本文の読み取りには使いません。
• favicon — Chrome の favicon API で保存ページのアイコンを表示します。
• contextMenus — 右クリックから一覧を開く、保存範囲を選ぶ、サイトを除外する、といった操作を提供します。
• storage — 設定と一時的な実行状態をこの端末に保存します。chrome.storage.sync は使いません。
• alarms — 復旧用コピーの確認や、削除済みセットの整理などの定期処理に使います。
• bookmarks（任意） — 復旧用コピーをオンにした場合に、専用フォルダへコピーを作成・照合します。オフのままでも端末内への保存はできます。
• tabGroups（任意） — メタデータがある場合に、元のタブグループを復元します。新しいグループは作りません。
• declarativeNetRequestWithHostAccess と youtube-nocookie.com — 紹介動画2本の埋め込みに Referer を付けます。任意の閲覧には使いません。

Limited Use

本拡張機能による Google API から受け取った情報の使用は、Limited Use の要件を含む Chrome ウェブストアのユーザーデータポリシーに従います。データはタブの保存・管理・復元と関連する復旧・診断のために使用し、 広告目的、信用力判断、融資目的には使用しません。許可された範囲を超えて販売・転送したり、人が閲覧したりしません。

行わないこと

• 全ウェブサイトへのアクセス要求や、閲覧中ページへのスクリプト注入は行いません。
• 個人情報の販売・貸与・取引は行いません。
• 広告プロファイルの構築に拡張機能を利用しません。
• 13歳未満から故意に情報を収集しません。

変更

ポリシーの変更は本ページへ反映し、更新日を記載します。タブデータの取り扱いに重要な変更がある場合も、本ページで知らせます。
